OEM Custom High Precision Electronic Accessories Aluminum Die Casting Automotive Parts
Pressure Casting
Die casting is a metal forming process that injects molten metal into the mold cavity under high pressure and quickly cools and forms it to obtain high-precision and high-surface quality metal parts. It is one of the most widely used casting methods in modern manufacturing, especially suitable for mass production of parts with complex shapes. Its core features are:
1. High-pressure injection: The molten metal quickly fills the mold under high pressure (usually tens to hundreds of MPa).
2. Rapid cooling: The molten metal quickly cools and solidifies in the mold to form high-precision parts.
3. High production efficiency: suitable for mass production with a short production cycle.
Die casting is mainly used in:
1. Automotive industry: engine block, gearbox housing, wheel hub, bracket, etc.
2. Electronics and electrical appliances: mobile phone housing, laptop housing, radiator, etc.
3. Aerospace: lightweight structural parts, engine parts, etc.
4. Household appliances: washing machine parts, air conditioner parts, kitchen utensils, etc.
5. Hardware tools: locks, door handles, decorative parts, etc.

Advantages
High precision: pressure casting can produce parts with complex shapes and high dimensional accuracy.
High surface quality: the surface finish of the parts is high, and usually no additional processing is required.
High efficiency: short production cycle, suitable for mass production.
High material utilization: high utilization of molten metal and less waste.
Lightweight: suitable for manufacturing lightweight parts, especially aluminum alloy and magnesium alloy parts.
Materials
Aluminum alloy: the most common die-casting material, with the characteristics of light weight, high strength and good corrosion resistance. Widely used in automobiles, aerospace, electronics and other fields.
Zinc alloy: good fluidity and high surface finish, suitable for manufacturing precision parts. Commonly used in hardware, decorative parts, electronic housings, etc.
Magnesium alloy: lightweight and high strength, suitable for manufacturing lightweight parts. Used in automobiles, aerospace, 3C products and other fields.
Copper alloy: has excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, but the cost is relatively high. Mainly used in electrical components, radiators, etc.
Processing Technology
Mold design and manufacturing: The mold is designed according to the shape of the part. The mold is usually made of high-strength steel and is divided into two parts: fixed mold and movable mold.
Smelting metal: Heat the metal material to a molten state and maintain a certain temperature.
Injecting molten metal: Inject the molten metal into the mold cavity under high pressure through the injection system (injection cylinder, injection head, etc.).
Cooling and solidification: The molten metal is quickly cooled and solidified in the mold.
Open the mold and take out the parts: the mold is opened and the molded parts are taken out.
Post-processing: deburring, surface treatment (such as polishing, spraying, etc.), and dimensional inspection of the parts.
Production Process-01
Mold preparation: design and manufacture molds according to product requirements to ensure the accuracy and durability of the mold.
Melting metal: put the metal material into the furnace heat it to a molten state, and remove impurities.
Die casting: inject molten metal into the die casting machine, and fill the molten metal into the mold cavity by high pressure.
Production Process-02
Cooling and mold opening: after the molten metal is cooled and solidified in the mold, the mold is opened and the molded parts are taken out.
Post-processing: deburring, grinding, surface treatment (such as electroplating, spraying, etc.), and dimensional inspection of the parts.
Quality inspection: ensure that the quality of the parts meets the requirements through dimensional measurement, appearance inspection, performance testing,g, and other means.
